President Ahtisaari recovers from coronavirus

President Martti Ahtisaari has recovered from the coronavirus infection he contracted in December and has been discharged from hospital. President Ahtisaari is well and continues to recuperate.
President Ahtisaari was diagnosed for the second time with a coronavirus infection on 29 December 2021. He also contracted the disease in March 2020.
