President Martti Ahtisaari diagnosed with new Covid-19 infection

President Martti Ahtisaari has been diagnosed with new Covid-19 infection. The infection was confirmed on Wednesday 29 December. President Ahtisaari is doing well under the circumstances, but is being treated in hospital. He also contracted Covid-19 in March 2020.
