President Ahtisaari meets with delegation from Aceh

President Martti Ahtisaari welcomed a delegation from Aceh this week. The purpose of the meeting was to have discussion about the current situation in Aceh.

CMI has been following developments in Aceh since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Indonesia and the Free Aceh Movement in August 2005. CMI does not have any project activities in Aceh but continues to monitor the situation.
