The power of networks: Together women are stronger in peacemaking

Published on Tuesday, 7th of March 2017

On International Women’s Day, CMI highlights the power of women’s networks in conflict prevention and resolution.

Women’s networks make a key contribution to shared experiences, finding common concerns and solutions, and promoting best practices. Both locally and nationally, networks help to bring important matters to the fore in peace processes.

Strengthening these networks helps us tackle the under-representation of women in peacemaking.

CMI supports several women’s networks. We asked four women to share their thoughts on these.
