CMI’s work continues: “We will search for new and innovative ways to advance peace”

“We know how to work in difficult situations. The key is doing it together with our own people, partners and supporters. In this new environment we will search for new and innovative ways to promote dialogue and advance peace”, says Hanna Klinge, CMI’s interim Executive Director.

Due to the Corona virus, CMI has cancelled external meetings and stakeholder events until mid-May in Helsinki headquarters and Brussels and in several other locations we work. All CMI staff has been advised to follow measures adopted by national authorities.

Globally, CMI follows the “do no harm” -principle. As a result, CMI’s work continues mainly virtually in these exceptional circumstances. We will contact our stakeholders and partners using all possible technology. “We know how to work in difficult situations. The key is doing it together with our own people, partners and supporters. In this new environment we will search for new and innovative ways to promote dialogue and advance peace”, says Hanna Klinge, CMI’s interim Executive Director.
