Iraq’s Sunnis, Christians and Yazidis made a rare visit to Najaf, heart of Shiite Islam. “We hope that this will support moderation in political and religious speech, thus building peace”, said civil society activist Mohammed Odeh. The visit completed a series of events organised by CMI to bring together Iraqis from different religious and ethnic backgrounds. Read more here.
